Each race has its own set of job options. Within each race you may choose from among 3 broad job classes: Warriors typically have high physical attack (P.Atk) or physical defense (P.Def) capabilities. Magicians typically have magical attack (M.Atk) or healing/buffing capabilities.

Classes in Demon's Souls and Demon's Souls Remake determine the starting Stats and Equipment of the player. Demon's Souls Classes are only an initial choice and do not limit the player to a specific skillset or style, so feel free to experiment with your build. There are 10 Classes in Demon's Souls that the player can begin the game with. This page covers a list of all the different classes in Demon's Souls.

What is the Best Class of Demon's Souls?

There is no specific 'Best Class' for the game, and players will find all classes can be developed into powerful Builds. That said, there are some classes that provide and easier start. The recommended classes for beginners are: Knight due to its robust stats and equipment, Royalty for the Soul Arrow spell, and Priest for the Heal miracle. Be mindful each class begins with different starter items and equipment.

Can I respec my Character?

Demon's Souls does not provide a way to respec your character, so your level-up decisions are final (unless the player has another player use the Soulsucker on them). For this reason, it is best for players to think carefully about their Builds and plan ahead to specialize. You will want to familiarize yourself with what each Stat does, as well as what Weapons and Spells are available.

Demon's Souls Classes

The cost of raising a Level increases as your character's level increases. The amount of souls each level costs is the same for all classes, though classes begin at different levels. For example, a character that starts at level 1 may find leveling up to be extremely affordable, but the character who starts at level 10 didn't have to pay anything to get to that point. When the level 1 character reaches level 10, going from 10 to level 11 will cost exactly the same amount of souls as it would for the character who started at level 10. Because of this, starting at a lower level actually ends up costing more overall, however the player will be able to put their stats exactly where they want them instead of starting with a more pre-determined kit.

Rappelz All Classes

Rappelz is a very fun mmorpg. There are 3 races, Deva, Asura, and Gaia. Each race then has three specialty classes that one may choose from, a warrior class, a summoner class, and a magic class.

Deva: Holy Warrior
Holy Warriors are the class with the highest defense and health in the game, and also have some great shield skills that further boost their defense and help prevent monsters from attacking other party members. They can be used in many different ways with many weapons. Players who choose the one handed mace and shield route are the “true tanks” for maces give stun skills and skills that further allow them to hold a monster attacking them.

However, low mace damage makes soloing go slowly and makes the rappelz rupees player highly dependent on skills to hold the monster. Spear users are the opposite, and although they still have the same high defense and health, they do not have any stuns, skills to keep mobs off party mates, or the ability to block enemy attacks that is very helpful for tanks. The advantage to the spear is that it allows them to do very good damage, especially at higher levels, and makes soloing much quicker.

The most common other option (maybe more popular than both the other two common methods) is to use a one handed sword and shield. This gives the benefits of the shield and decent damage with the sword. It also provides a skill that replenishes the player's mana, making it so they virtually never run out. However, you lack the stun skills of the mace and the very high damage of the spear. These rappelz rupees players are still able to “tank” in parties, and can also solo, though somewhat slow compared to other classes.

Cleric:
The cleric is the Deva magician. As in most games, it is the best healer class. They are essential to all Dungeon Parties (DPs.) They have some very good healing spells, and also “buffs.” Thee buffs improve the targets physical attack, defense, speed, mana regeneration, and magic attack greatly. They have fairly weak health and defense, but do have some good magic attacks. They are also on of the best player vs. rappelz rupees player (PVP) classes. They are commonly used with two weapons.
